Rooted: Growing a Local Food Ecosystem is Propagate's film that asks - how can we work together to create a fair, healthy and sustainable food system?
Rooted meets nature friendly farmers and food producers across Dumfries and Galloway, explores ways to access local food, and visits community projects inspiring good food citizenship.
Rooted can be screened in different ways. It's a 50minute film for group and community settings, or as 5 short films for schools and projects.
Rooted will be available in Spring 2024 as an educational resource for schools, colleges, community groups and peer networks. We are creating accompanying discussion tools and classroom activities.
Rooted has been made in collaboration with Soft Error (Emma Dove), with D&G Sustainable Food Partnership, and funded by Inspiring Scotland.
If you would like to host a screening please get in touch to discuss what you need and how we can help.
